: (1) The investigation of the offense under this Act shall be carried out by the staff up to the rank of ranger or officer related to forest and wildlife management or at least by gazetted first class staff or at least by the staff up to the rank of sub-inspector in the police and after the completion of such investigation, the National Park Office or The case will be filed before the officer looking into the case in the name of Reserve Office or Wildlife Protection Office or Forest Office or any other office dealing with forest.
(2) According to sub-section (1), when filing a case before the officer who hears the case, the concerned officer may seek advice from the public prosecutor.
